after i enter these subfolders, the playlists that are in these subfolders now appear in the root folder /e/data/playlists/music

is there anyway to avoid this?
xbmc copies all found playlists into the appropiate playlist folder. the current exception is playlists found in the music and video folders, but i will change that tonight as its a very quick fix. i never thought of the possibility of users creating subfolders in there.
