Right now I'm a junior in high school, and I really want to live in Helsinki, at least for a few years.
Does anyone have any sites where I can research some basic stuff about it to show my parents? They're kind of...skeptical about me leaving Massachusetts and going to another continent (yeah, they're overprotective XD)
And is it a nice place to live, in your opinion?
I think all college graduates should move somewhere after graduation.
yes, if that is what u really want to do.
no ***** way finland suks balls hardcore
just go to google,or ask some one that you know from dere, find people on like myspace or face book that live dere
I agree with your plans to live for a few years in Europe, but I think you should consider places other than Helsinki. Finland is cold and dark in the winter, and is more insular than most other European nations. The overwhelming majority of people in Finland are Finnish, and unless you have relatives there, you may always be viewed as an outsider. My advice would be to look at a number of European nations to consider which one would be best for you, and then visit the country several times before actually planning on moving there. Don't go to Finland unless u have a job there
yes move. america is going to hell.
Well, I personally like living here. Might be colder than some places in the world, but other places don't have the midnight sun at midsummer or aurora borealis during winter.
Here's a good site to start with:
