I trust her, and she's done it before but said she didn't go without using condoms. But last Saturday we had a joke kind of day, and we had sex up to nearly ten times for a random fun day. The next day, she tells me that she is on the pill, and we could have made it to ten. Nobody gets angry or anything. But last night, considering sheâ ™s on the pill we both agreed to try it without. Now, her mother thinks she has signs of pregnancy, and sheâ ™s going for an appointment. I've been on the phone, and apparently she's been "different and like this" for a few months. I'm worried sick. So, as far as I know, we're both monogamous, and she's using the pill. She keeps saying she "probably isn't" but, I thought it had to be a few weeks before you could find out if you were pregnant? Anybody give me advice!? Sex ed::

she could be lying about using the pill seeing as unless you start it on the first day of your period, it is not effective until you've been taking it at pretty much the same time every day for 7 days! NOT IMMEDIATELY! Even then, it is still possible for you to get pregnant even if you've been using it for years, so use condoms as well because although the pill can prevent pregnancy (95% effective) it cannot prevent the spread of STI's that she may have caught before.

It takes at least 3 weeks to be able to test for pregnancy though it is possible to test before that with a blood test at the doctors where a sample would be sent away for testing.
If she comes back later and says she's pregnant, she's either lying, or has been at it with someone else unless a condom broke at some point when you 2 were at it.
Be careful with this girl as it is your first adult relationship and you don't want to be lulled into believing her every word just because of this.
The easiest way to see if she's pregnant is just to use an at home pregnancy test. There is a chance of getting pregnant while on the pill, but it's really really rare. What are her symptoms? If you have oral sex without a condom, you can still get an STD, whether if she gave oral sex to someone in the past, or if you gave oral sex another woman in the past.
