guys, i got an, and i'll try to post as much details as i can.
i have 2 networks :
1) cable lan
pc 192.168.10.1 <-> xbox 192.168.10.2
2) wireless lan
pc 192.168.0.1 <-> routeur modem 192.168.0.254 --> 82.236.xx.xx for my static internet ip TwonkyVision UPnP AV Media Server • View topic - Twonky & XBMC:: 26 posts - Last post: Dec 11, 2007XBMC cannot see my Buffalo Linkstation Twonky install I always get the message "Could not connect to network server" in XBMC when trying http://www.twonkyforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=2141HOME |
(plus my ds at 192.168.0.2 but it is not applicable here )
how do i change my settings for my xbox to be able to retrieve informations and data from the internet ?
- what shall i input for dns entry on xbmc ?
- i set up static ip manual settings in xbmc to 192.168.10.2, 255.255.255.0, 192.160.10.1
- what is bridging two connections (in xp), and is that of any relevance here ?
- can i still proceed with the idea of two separate networks (with different ip ranges) with the xbox getting the internet from my routeur not on the same network ?
- with xbmc settings manually defined, do they conflict in any way with those from evox if different ?
thanks for your help !!
