You know he likes you! Sounds like you need it to be finalized. Throw it out there by saying something like "I was crazy for ever breaking up with you", and see what he says.
Give it another try. If you don't like the way the relationship is going then dump him.
In my experience this means he does like you and he might love you too because he does know a lot about you. Sounds like he's being honest. But I'm (obviously) not a guy, so I'm basing this on how I am. I'm honest no matter what about how I feel about someone but guys aren't always that way. Just give it time and if you feel deep down that he's being honest and want to, give him a chance. Just don't jump headfirst without thinking because then you may wind up regretting it if he breaks your heart. Take things very very very slow. Hope I helped!
