Uninstalled limewire/tried to reinstall but it won't let me ::

(eg: dialup, broadband, cable, etc.) IM CONFUSED and really annoyed. I usually am able to solve these problems by myself but this one is really confusing to me.

Ive had a look at all the different types of vista and i am slightly confused between all the different types and the 32/64 bit thing. i am pretty sure there is a difference between the different versions and th 32/64 bit thing, but what is it? Songbird doesn't play first two seconds of any songs.::
Feb 27, 2009 They are all mp3. I don't have/use file types other than mp3. . Songs won't play at all. Most users will use the Home Edition of vista.
Pro version offers more components. Like Media Center.
Ultimate has everything MS has to offer for windows. Including Extras and Upgrades.
The x86 (32 Bit) is for 32 bit cpu's (and motherboards, etc...)
The x64 (64-Bit)is for 64 bit systems.

You can Google your computer/motherboard to see what type it's running. Mostly if you have a ePCI slot, you have a 64 bit system. You can run a 32bit windows on a 64-bit system, but you cannot run a 64 bit windows on a 32 bit system.
I recommend getting Vista Pro (Ultimate if your a fanatic, Home if you're a light user). Be sure you check the system requirements!
For Vista, there's home basic, home premium, and ultimate.
