50/f1.4 or Tamron 28-75/f2.8 for wedding - PentaxForums.com:: Feb 26, 2008 The dinner will be in a hotel boardroom so it will not be too brightly . Flash, done wrong, definately looks 'snapshotish', but when used http://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-slr-lens-discussion/21564-50-f1-4-tamron-28-75-f2-8-wedding.htmlHOME | I think my images are still to snap shotish? In my mind, a snapshot is only when the person doesn't care whether its a good picture or not, so these are clearly not snapshots.
Could these be better? I think they could. I think a good picture implies some feelings, emotions, ideas that extend beyond the edge of the image. The photographer does this by using all the tools available, focus, depth of field, composition, color. 8.21.2007 Four from the Underground I went on a short trip last :: These shots remind me of (in a very humble snapshot-ish way) old stereograms of natural wonders. Not too shabby for handheld shots while being on the tour. http://www.andybatt.com/Stacks/2007_08_01_stacks.phpHOME | &Welcome to Flickr!:: Aside from the lens effect, it looks quite snapshotish. I look at these pictures and don't get what you are trying to get across. Perhaps you could approach these pictures by figuring out what you want to represent or to tell and then try different ways to get this across.Maybe more of the context, maybe more expression of feeling or interest, more color - I don't know.
I do know that the fact that you care about making them better sets you a step ahead of the game.
Heres my question?
Why would someone get bored with doing IT for 10 years?
