I find smoking pot helps but then i dont wanna do anything....
Therapeutic Massage is a great passive way relieving tension. Also, to repeat what others have said, physical activity is paramount. Many of us lead sedentary lives and spend a lot of time hunched over a computer. A chronic situation in our society is weak abs and bad posture which accounts for a lot of pain and accumulation of stress. My best solution is a monthly massage and a consistent exercise routine. I prefer yoga which works with, not only the muscles but also the organ systems and mind. Also yoga gives you the altered state of consciousness that you might enjoy from drugs or alcohol without the cloudiness and the added effect of a peaceful disposition and increased strength, flexibility and balance on all levels. Just make sure to find a good teacher and an experienced massage therapist. For general tension I suggest CranioSacral, and for chronic pain and stiffness myofascial release. If you get into an intense exercise routine try lymph drainage therapy and sports massage for recovery from soreness and performance enhancement. Hope that helps!

Hi there,try this,and it works.:Physical activity
Regular physical exercise has been shown to decrease the level of stress hormones the body releases in response to stress. Exercise has been touted as the single most effective technique to relieve stress. Individuals, especially those with heart conditions, should consult a physician before beginning an exercise program.
