I met someone that got a bachelor's degree in computer science, and worked in IT for 10 years. Then, they got bored of it, and went back to school to get a degree in civil engineering.
When you work in any field and was exposed to it in 10 years there is nothing anymore you can learn or anything that will excite you. This is true not only in IT but in any job as well. Ten years is the maximum you can tolerate any boring job. Unless you get promoted every year which never happens. Travelling across America::
