Why would you go LHR-YUL-ORD in J when you could go LHR-YYZ-ORD in F on BA? Also, AKL-CHC will be all Y, so if youre on AONE5, itll be a bit of a waste of a

I was just checking the flights to BGI, my favourite vacation destination, and found on several sites that the flights will be sold with no J at the end of April and perhaps onward. I did nor check any other dates or other Caribbean destinations.

Is AC going to reconfigure the aircraft or the J seats will be sold as Y and offered to passengers with Aeroplan status? That used to be the case till mid-1990s.

Well, as Empress is winging to HKG, let me take a stab at this one.
AC966 YYZ-BGI I show as having J class seats both at the times you mentioned and on into the spring/summer. It's in the sked now as a 319 daily, except Sat. when it's a 767. I sold space on both and it showed a separate J cabin.

J class does exist on the flight on the above date, but is sold out already. so the website gave you the next best alternative ie. Y class.

No the infamous "Super Comfort Class" will not be returning to the YYZ-BGI route. At least not in the near future.
I looked this morning at aircanada.com and expedia.ca, leaving YUL for BGI on Apr. 24 via YYZ and returning to YUL on May 2 and there was no J available on expedia, aircanada.com had a notion J not available, Y selected. Is that a glitch?
